Trying to Find Your Passion in Life? Check Your Birth Date.

Earlier this year, I embarked on a journey ready to learn. I took personality tests I expected to learn about the best career paths, about my leadership style, about what motivates me or the types of careers I should invest in. But honestly, I never would have guessed that a journey to define my career would lead me to learn more about who I am as a human.

I’ve made it my goal to learn something new about myself as often as I can. Personality quizzes, strength finders, quizzes on Buzzfeed about which Game of Thrones House would I be from? I took them all.

I started doing more research into Numerology and your Life Path number. Like the horoscopes you’d read in teen magazines, each person has a Life Path Number like an astrological sign, that shares a bit about your personality based on your birth day.

In my exploration of Life Path numbers, I’ve found it hauntingly accurate. And knowing how many of our readers share similar interests in finding their passion, I’m hoping you might find this little piece as insightful as I did.

If the realist in you is telling you to be objective about finding your passion, and not pursuing a more spiritual view, like Numerology, on your life path, I still encourage you to read through the possible paths below and see if there are any that really stand out to you!

I took a lot of this information from the incredible resources available on the AstroStyle website.

Calculating your Life Path Number

The Life Path Number is a sum of your birthday date. The final number is supposed to identify the native traits that will carry you through life. There are numbers 1-9.

Say, for example, your birthday is March 23, 1990.

Start with the Month: March is 03. 0+3 = 3

Then the Date: 23. 2+3 = 5

Then the Year: 1990. 1+9+9+0 = 19.

Add together your number for Month, Day and Year: 3 + 5 + 19 = 27; 2+7= 9

Your life path number would be written 27/9 and you are a Life Path 9
